This is clearly dependent upon the type of compactor being used and also the type of waste being processed. Other factors, such as the peak load, need to be considered to ensure that the chosen compactor can handle the busiest times without creating a backlog. It should also be remembered that many compactors will require the installation of a concrete base and potentially other supporting infrastructure.
