The MDE Koala range was designed with a purposely built heavy Hardox chassis. This ensures it is stronger, more resilient, and robust, than any tree shear in its market category. Koala tree shears are hydraulic attachments, that connect to an excavators hammer lines. The hydraulic cylinder pushes the Hardox edge through the tree, and shears it. The benefit this design has, is that when the tree is cut, it can be placed to a safe location. MDE offer 5 cutting diameter models in the Koala range. This is suitable for excavators 1.5 – 40 tonne.
